What programs are best for beginners?

Always get your Doctor’s approval before starting a new fitness program. Generally speaking if you are within 25 pounds of your goal weight, you should focus on strength training with programs like Slim in 6, ChaLEAN Extreme, P90X3, and Les Mills Pump. If you have more than 30 pounds to lose, a cardio based program like Focus T25, Turbo Fire, Les Mills Combat will provide the best results.

What if you want to take it up a notch?

Beachbody has amazing advanced workout programs to satisfy your inner athlete. Insanity, Insanity: The Asylum, Body Beast, P90X, and P90X2 are challenging! Word to the wise – while these programs are household names, they are not to be committed to without consideration. Many a beginner has started with Insanity and seen amazing results, BUT many have been discouraged and quit. If you decide to start with an advanced program, consult your Doctor and then go for it! But know that you will have to pace yourself, listen to your body, and be forgiving if you cannot make it through an entire workout in the first couple of weeks.

What if you don’t have much time to workout?

You’re not off the hook. Focus T25 and P90X3 have 25 and 30 minutes workouts that ANYONE can fit into their schedule.

Can you participate if you’re recovering from an injury or want something low intensity?

You can absolutely still participate, with your Doctor’s approval. Programs like Slim in 6 and Tai Cheng or low impact, low intensity.

Will this really work?

If you follow the workout calendar, IT WILL WORK. If you replace one meal a day with Shakeology, IT WILL WORK. If you stick to the meal plan, IT WILL WORK.
